Hello Amador parents,

When I first walked onto the Amador campus and saw the gym, I was shocked! I asked myself how can a high performing school have a gym that looks like this. That was last year, and after learning a lot more about the gym and just how bad it is, inside and out, I am even more shocked! I have taken on the job as Booster’s president to make a positive difference in the athletic program at Amador. The Booster’s board and I can’t do this alone, we need your help!

I have had many parents talk to me about the dire state of our gym and how something needs to be done. I agree, we can no longer “keep kicking the can down the road.” Some parents have shared with me that the Pleasanton school board recently approved around $350,000 dollars for turf repairs to the Foothill High School football field. In fairness, I believe we need at least the same amount, and really more, to fix/repair our gym.

The main issues of the gym that we need to first address are:
Leaky roof
Inadequate ventilation and the need for air conditioning.
Repair the exterior stucco and paint the exterior.

We have to let the board and the superintendent know that we have had it! We want action, we need the issues of our gym addressed immediately. To achieve this, the first step is signing the petition below. Just click the link and complete the petition.
We will be back in touch with some feedback and further actions required if necessary.

THE BOOSTERS BOARD CANNOT DO THIS ALONE! IF WE DO NOT GET ENOUGH PARENTS TO RALLY BEHIND THIS CAUSE THE BOARD WILL NOT ACT! WE NEED POWER IN NUMBERS.

Thank you so much for your continued support to our Athletic program,
Ben Breazeale and the Boosters Board.
